I am Michael Persch, an architect, artist and photographer, currently back in my German hometown, after having spent the last years in Australia and Singapore.
My visual journey began at an early age by joining a photography club at school in my home town.
After busy years studying architecture and sustainable development and working for architecture firms in Germany and Australia, I finally committed to a ‘serious’ camera and purchased my first digital SLR in 2009.
Since then I have been using my camera intensively on my travels.
I am convinced that Henri Cartier-Bresson’s quote ‘Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst’ applies to every photographer.
So please join me on my journey towards and beyond the 10,000 threshold!
Besides photography I am an enthusiastic urban sketcher.
